1. In order to provide an all-round international hospitality education, the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality has developed partnerships with various universities and colleges around the world.

An exchange of ideas concerning training and current topics in the hotel and tourist industries is thus possible; contemporary trends and the latest in personnel requirements across the industry are discussed.

Today, cooperations with universities and partner schools leads to interesting seminars and new learning content.

Additionally, SSTH supports the development of specific hotel management programs and a qualified education for students in the areas of hospitality and tourism on site.

  2. The University of Delaware can look back on a long history of tradition.  It was founded in 1743 as a small college, and has grown to a large institution for modern research and teaching with over 20,000 students.  Within the universities 137 Bachelor degrees, the Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management (HRIM) program is considered one of the top in the US.

For many years, SSTH has cooperated closely with the University of Delaware (UD), bringing faculty to SSTH to conduct seminars, hosting UD summer courses, and having a seat on the UD Advisory Board. With the partnership agreement of 1993, many students from both institutions have benefited greatly from the study-abroad opportunity this international exchange delivers.
