    According to the World Travel & Tourism Council, the travel and tourism industry generates over 2 Billion US Dollar in sales. The longer term expectations also look promising: In 2022, an ever stronger growth is anticipated with over 230 million employees in the travel sector - which would mean that every 10th person will be employed in this industry. As Mr. David Scowsill, President and CEO of WTTC states: "It is clear that the travel & tourism industry is going to be a significant driver of global growth and employment for the next decade".
